It's not very common to hear about how harmful asbestos exposure can be in your home. We're here to help you understand the signs of asbestos in your house so that you and your family are safe and sound.
Feeling Tired?
We understand that feeling fatigued can stem from a variety of conditions. However, if you find yourself feeling tired with no explanation whatsoever, it could be stemming from something more serious such as lung cancer or mesothelioma. These conditions stem from asbestos itself. If you are feeling fatigue with no reason to be, it may be time to visit your doctor for a full check-up.

Dry Cough and Shortness of Breath
Did you know that one of the main symptoms of asbestos exposure is a dry cough or shortness of breath? This is due to the asbestos fibers that will enter your mouth or nose down to your throat. Scar tissue then begins to form in your lungs if left untreated. If you find yourself with these symptoms, you may have been exposed to asbestos.

Fingertips Swollen
Last but not least, fingertips that become swollen accounts for half of asbestosis cases. If you think that you or a loved one is exposed to asbestos, please give your doctor a call as well as Cascade Insulation a call as soon as possible.
